CCSD21 Welcomes New Principal at Holmes 

The Community Consolidated School District 21 welcomes a new leader to the 2023-2024 school year. 

After serving successfully as an assistant principal at Cooper Middle School, Jenny Lagunas will now use her skills and talents to lead Holmes Middle School as the new principal. Prior to that, Ms. Lagunas was an instructional coach for four years at Kilmer and Frost Elementary Schools. Before her role as a coach, Ms. Lagunas was a dual language teacher for 10 years at Frost. Ms. Lagunas has distinguished herself over her fifteen years in District 21 as a kind, hard-working and thoughtful educator. She understands the needs of both elementary and middle school students. Through her coaching and assistant principal roles, she has shown success in supporting students, teachers and families here in the district. She has a passion for ensuring the growth and success of all students and works tirelessly to meet staff and student needs.
