Summary of March 4 Board of Education meeting

On a 4-3 vote, the Board of Education adopted a proposal to implement increased in-person instruction for in-person students. The plan includes a return to five days of full day instruction for in-person students in grades K-5.

On Monday, March 29, all in-person students in kindergarten and 1st grade will return to school for the full day. In-person students in grades 2-5 will have a full remote day on Monday, March 29.

On Tuesday, March 30, all in-person students in grades K-5 will return to school for the full day.

Effective Monday, March 15, in-person students in grades 6-8 will move to full days of instruction on a revised hybrid schedule. Students will maintain their color day rotation (ie. Purple or Silver) and attend school in person for full days – three days one week and two days the following on a rotating basis.

There are no changes to the Distance Learning Academy as a result of the Boardโ€™s action.
