Kindergarten and New Student Registration now open for 2026-2027 school year

Community Consolidated School District 21 is now accepting registrations for kindergarten and new students for the 2026–2027 school year.

Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll in District 21’s kindergarten program. Families who are new to the district are encouraged to begin the registration process as early as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

How to Register

Registration is completed online and can be done in just a few steps:

1. Visit the Registration Page
   Go to ccsd21.org/registration and select “2026–2027 PK–8 Students New to CCSD21.”
2. Create or Log In to Your Parent Account
   New families will need to create a parent account. Families who already have an account should log in using their existing credentials.
3. Complete the Online Registration Form
   Enter all required student and family information and review carefully for accuracy.
4. Upload Required Documents
   Families will need to provide:
   • Three proofs of residency
   • An official birth certificate issued by the county clerk in the county where the child was born (hospital certificates are not accepted)

Additional forms may be required depending on the student’s grade level.

Important Reminders

As part of District 21’s ongoing efforts to reduce financial barriers for families, no registration fees will be charged, and school supplies will be provided for all students.

Families unsure of which school their child will attend can use the district’s School Boundary Map by entering their home address. Once the online registration is complete and all required documents are submitted, families will receive an email confirmation that their child is registered for the 2026–2027 school year.

Current District 21 Families

For families with a student currently enrolled in District 21, including preschool students, registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open in April. Additional details will be shared at a later date.
